A leading renewable energy firm is growing and as a result are looking to hire a Microgrid Engineering Manager to take ownership of the microgrid department and manage the engineers, processes and overall development of the firm’s microgrid expertise. •A NDip in Electrical Engineering. An Electrical Engineering degree will be a distinct advantage •A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in PV and microgrid design and commissioning •Experience developing PLC code for both monitoring and control application. •Practical understanding of generator control and integration with microgrid control. •Knowledge of the South African Grid Code and implementation of Protection and SCADA in renewable energy plants. •Professional registration with ECSA will be beneficial.
