Quantity SurveyorThis company has an opportunity for a professionally registered Quantity Surveyor, for a career in the built environment in their Cape Town office.The client is looking for a professionally registered Quantity Surveyor with professional consultancy experience. The successful candidate will work side by side with architects, electrical-, mechanical-, civil-, structural- and electronic engineers, project managers and quantity surveyors. Must be a South African citizen.Role ResponsibilitiesMeasuring Quantities from plans to compile BOQsPreparing tender documentationAttending site meetingsContract AdministrationPreparing Cost ReportsMeasuring and agreeing on final accountsProject ManagementQuality AssuranceMulti-disciplinary services co-ordinationTeam co-ordinationOversee projects as neededLiaising with clients and other stakeholdersBehavioural CompetenciesAnalytical thinker with proven problem solvingAbility to manage and prioritize complex tasksStrong verbal and written communication skillsCompetency in mathematical and accounting principlesEducation and ExperienceBSc (Hons) or similar qualification in Quantity Surveying that allows for professional registrationRegistered as a Professional with the SACQSP4 years post Pr QS registration experienceProject management qualification or experience beneficialShould be able to manage multiple projects at the same timeExcellent construction- and general project management skills
