Job Description DATA! DATA! A well-established, reputable company is looking for a mechanical/electrical engineer with data centre experience to join their development team in Johannesburg. The incumbent will be responsible for the technical aspects of new build, expansion, and major upgrade of Data Centres across the continent for Africa Data Centres, predominantly in South Africa. Responsible for engineering decisions, project design deliverables, and acceptance of all major mechanical or electrical deployments completed for Africa Data Centres. Requirements: •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (non-negotiable) •Professionally registered (advantageous)•Certified Data Centre Professional (advantageous)•UTI Tier Designer (advantageous)•In-depth knowledge of technical infrastructure requirements for mission critical facilities (essential) •Design knowledge in M&E equipment and infrastructure sizing (essential) •5+ Years’ Experience with M&E project design & delivery •5+ Years’ Experience in an operational mission critical environment Should this position pique your interest, and you meet the requirements for, please email your updated CV to engineering.jobs@staffingprojects.co.za.
