JOB DESCRIPTION: JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The release of Electrical components for vehiclesThe support of Electric vehicles and charging infrastructureThe resolution of design related problems on all locally manufactured platformsCo-ordination of testing and release of components and system, locally and at source Problem analysisMaintaining and updating the bill of materials systemCost analysis of various components, systems and projectsCost saving (PKO) initiation and investigationsProject management on new or changed systems and components EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:ESSENTIAL: A relevant Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentA minimum of 5 years’ relevant develop and design experience in an automotive components industrial environmentExperience or passion for electric vehicle’s Good Technical problem solving abilityComputer literate (Microsoft Office tools) German knowledge, or willingness to learnInitiative, be a self-starter with the ability to work independentlyExcellent communication skillsWillingness to travel occasionallyA valid driver’s license PREFERRED: Ability to deal with automotive component suppliersStrong knowledge in vehicle electronics and / or battery development
