JOB SUMMARY: A multinational Financial Services conglomerate, listed on the UK stock exchange, seeks an experienced and detailed Cashbook Clerk to join their finance team based in Claremont – CT . JOB DESCRIPTION: Job & Company Description:The company is looking for a quick adaptor who challenges theordinary. The successful candidate will be responsible for full cashbook function for the group, including accurate allocation of cash, bank reconciliations and cash management.Duties include, but are not limited to: Maintain bank signatory lists across the businessProcess payments on systemPreparation and distribution of monthly cash flow reportsMonthly bank reconciliations of all the bank accountsCapturing month-end journalsReconciliation of balance sheet accountsPosting monthly interest on the bank account to business unitsMaintain prepayments scheduleMaintain schedule of subscriptionsMaintain fixed asset registerAssist in annual external auditsAssist management and Financial Accountants with ad hoc dutiesDeal with any enquiries raisedAssist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures Education: Matric (Grade 12) completedRelevant tertiary qualification in / Accounting Job Experience & Skills Required: 5 to 10 years’ experience in a cashbook and banking role is essentialGood understanding of the debtors and creditorsAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel is essentialExperience in Financial Services / Insurance industry preferredSAGE or Accpac experience preferredAbility to take initiative, learn quickly and strive for resultsFinancial acumenAbility to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environmentTeam player Apply now!For more finance jobs, please visit If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
