Job & Company Description:The company is looking for a quick adaptor who challenges theordinary. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creditor’s function of group and will ensure that all creditors are paid accurately and timeously.Duties include, but are not limited to:Loading and processing payments in the banking and accounting systemsEnsuring that all invoices approved in accordance with corporate approvals frameworkMonthly reconciliation of creditors ledgersCapturing of month-end accrualsPosting journalsReconciliation of accountsVerify, sort, post and check staff expense claims, bills, invoices and vouchersAdminister corporate credit card processDeal with any enquiries raisedAssist in the annual external audit processAssist management and Financial Accountants to fulfill other responsibilitiesAssist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and proceduresEducation:Matric (Grade 12) completedRelevant tertiary qualification in Finance / AccountingJob Experience & Skills Required:5 to 10 years’ experience in a full function creditors role is essentialAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel is essentialExperience in Financial Services / Insurance industry preferredSAGE or Accpac experience preferredAbility to take initiative, learn quickly and strive for resultsFinancial acumenAbility to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environmentTeam playerApply now!
