Business Intelligence DeveloperOur client in the Payments Industry is searching for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join their team based on remote basis.Key requirements:BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fieldMust be fluent in AfrikaansProven experience as a BI DeveloperIndustry experience is preferred.Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data miningIn-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI)Practical experience using SQL queries (MySQL, MSSQL – TSQL), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, DAX and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitudeKnowledge of Python/R and experience in implementation of machine learning models into PowerBI
