Job Description: Proficient in set-up and operation of inspection Equipment.Read and Understand Engineering drawings and the application of Geometric dimensioning and tolerances.Use measurement techniques for component and checking fixturesUse 3D software (viewing and rotation of axes)CMM/3D machine measuring and programmingRead and Understand 2D and 3D data.Read and understand inspection standards.Ensure 5s tool application on working area and around the plantApplication of the 5Why methodology to solve function and department related problemsAdhere to all environmental policies and procedures of the employerAdhere to all safety policies and procedures of the company Job Requirements: Engineering Diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years’(1-2 years is sufficient) experience in CMM operation and software (preferably PC-DMIS & Polywork 3D machine)Minimum of 5yrs experience in an automotive production environmentUnderstanding of engineering instructions and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy.Computer Skills (Microsoft office suite)Attention to detailGood communications skillsAutomotive background mandatory to understand the automotive standards and requirementsKnowledge in statistical controlSix Sigma knowledge would be an advantage
