Job Description We have an amazing opportunity for a Mid-Level Developer in Durban!We require a candidate with:•5 years’ experience as a Front-end Developer•Excellent understanding of responsive web design and a mobile first approach to development•Skillset must include:•Strong CSS/CSS3 for front end templating•Strong HTML 5•PHP (Laravel, CakePHP, Yii)•Javascript / jQuery•Adobe Photoshop•Understanding of SEO and UX•Experience with:•Subversion (Git)•Database administration (MySQL)•Sass / Less•Must be able to code own responsive template from PSD•Able to manipulate plugins to perform required functions (mentioning examples will be beneficial)•Experience using child themes and familiar plugins•Building new WordPress sites/systems from scratch (including themes and plugins)•Understanding of different CMS platforms such as Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla and Umbraco•Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success•Critical thinker and problem-solving skills•Team player•Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and embracing of their values and principles•Good time-management skills•Great interpersonal and communication skills.
