? Monthly Income statement & Balance Sheet analysis? Ownership of completeness and accuracy of accounting records? Review and approval of Balance Sheet reconciliations? Review and approval of general ledger journal entries? General Ledger custodian? Interpret financial results and reporting systems? Opex analysis and enacting change and driving costs down? Initiate cost-saving initiatives? Insurance review? Assess the company’s financial reporting systems? Drive change in accounting policies and practices? Control and maintain the fixed asset register? Support strategic planning? Budgets and forecasts process? Prepare and review profitability analysis? Enforce financial policies, procedures, and related internal control policies (also implementinternal audit recommendations)? Identify and implement improvements to strengthen the financial health of the business
