Overview Commercial Manager BuildingAn industry-leading company situated in Johannesburg is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Commercial Manager Building to join their team.Key responsibilities: Financial ManagementCommercial / Quantity Surveying / Contractual issuesSubordinate ManagementStrategic Account Management:Project ManagementManage relationships with auditors, tax advisers, brokers, bankers and other parties as directed by the Chief Executive Officer.Attend Executive Committee and other relevant meetings.Actively assist in the acquisition due diligence process.Resolving contractual and commercial problems.Ensuring that all stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations.Carry out any further tasks for which qualifications & experience is suited as directed by the Company and mutually agreed upon Experience: 8 – 12 Years ExperienceExtensive experience working on contractsCompiling and successfully concluding contractual claims.Processing and successfully resolving contractual disputes, including through arbitration, adjudication, and other forms of dispute resolution.Preparing and negotiating joint venture, consortium, and subcontract agreements. Education & certificates: BSc Quantity Surveying or similar CTC R850k – R650k p/a depending on experience
