The company is part of a listed group, with several subsidiaries and clients all over Africa – that means the ideal candidate must be comfortable with tight deadlines and as mentioned, consolidations. The company is growing fast, so the incumbent must be willing to assist with scaling the business. Their solutions focus on energy efficiency, solar PV, carbon measurement/management and sustainability strategy development. Other complimentary business units include real time energy monitoring and management software, world class energy efficiency products, Accredited Professional Training, as well as claiming of incentives and accessing tailored financing solutions. The incumbent will be in charge of monthly consolidated management accounts, monthly reporting, budgeting and forecast – read below for additional information. As Group Financial Accountant you will be responsible for: Responsible for the production of monthly consolidated management accounts.Responsible for cost control and expense management and ensuring that efficiencies are identified within the businesses.Monitoring and reporting on actual performance versus budget, following up on variances and ensuring that corrective actions are implemented.Budgets and ForecastingAssisting operations managers in the preparation of operational performance reports and presentations for EXCO.Monitoring and reviewing of the Group’s systems and controls and ensuring that systems are working as intended.Reviewing all balance sheet accounts recons and ensuring that all reconciling items are properly investigated and cleared.Assist the financial manager in the preparation of reports for the CFO.Assist the financial manager in the preparation of annual financial statements.Preparation of cash flow forecasts and monitoring of actual cash flows to ensure they are in line with the forecasts.Provide assistance in project evaluations, asset purchase evaluations etcJob Experience and Skills Required: CA(SA) or B.Com with completed ArticlesManufacturing experience advantageousOneStream or HFM advantageous Network Recruitment is a leading specialist recruitment company in the fields of IT, Finance and Engineering.
