Overall Value Stream budget responsibility and Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People Engagement deliverables.Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the full value stream: leading and improving the manufacturing operations for all products through continuous improvement including cost reduction activities, increase in efficiency and performance, and the day-today management of a multi-functional team. Full ownership of the VS performance including capacity and lead time reductions as well as quality, cost, safety and delivery, and employee engagement.Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual expectations. Focus on driving continuous improvement activities within the VS to achieve increased productivity, reduced lead time, excellent customer service, world class safety performance and maximum output and flexibility within the team. Direct and lead the premier customer service efforts necessary to meet Business Unit, Division and Group goals. Create the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardized work and optimal processes are followed, needed adjustments are implemented and the respective VS area is compliant with safety and 5S requirements. Work with the Operations Manager to develop the future state value stream map and manage the plans to achieve it. Responsible for POP implementation and long-term manufacturing strategies. Implement Lean tools and techniques to increase capacity, reduce cost and improve both safety standards and productivity levels, extend employee empowerment levels through the use of HPTs etc., Responsible for the leadership, development, and motivation of a direct and indirect multi-disciplinary team to achieve business KPIs. Manage interface with all support functions and departments to optimise VS performance. Management and development of value stream team membersHold regular team meetings and assigns team members tasks and coordinates support services needed outside the team. Coach, council, and manage the performance of team leaders.
