Overview Senior Bridge Design EngineerAn industry-leading company situated in Johannesburg is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Senior Bridge Design Engineer to join their team.Key Responsibilities: Lead/Manage Bridge teamLead or support bid preparations and submissionsDesign Bridge and Civil Works Structural Engineering, including bridge hydrology and hydraulicsManage the design process of projectsProject Management and Quality Control Management as requiredReport writing as requiredContract administration, including the preparation of contract documentation, specifications and bill of quantitiesChecking of drawings and schedulesResource management of the bridge team Key Requirements: 15 years and above as a Bridge Design engineerBSc/BEng Engineering qualification (MSc will be an advantage)Professionally Registered with ECSADetailed knowledge of Finite Element Design Software such as Revit/Sofistik/Prokon/AutoCADExperience in design of feature bridges will be an advantageKnowledge of SANRAL processes will be an advantageAble to lead a design team and work under pressureAble to work unsupervised with efficient time managementEntrepreneurial with high business acumen
