Employees have noted the benefits structure as being particularly above industry rates, and the environment as enjoyable and exciting.Job DescriptionReporting directly to the General Commercial Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the continued and increasing successes of a dynamic and powerful group of talented team members; pushing the department to new standards of excellence, while using analytics and customer feedback to keep the team up-to-date and at the commercial cutting edge. This role may require frequent travel to other countries to explore and identify new opportunities.Role ResponsibilitiesGenerating products sales and increasing profitability by broadening the company’s horizonsEnsuring that products are made available in the international markets by analysing customers trends, developing sales plans and strategies to meet their specific needsManaging the export sales department, including all the commercial processes and administrative staffRegular interaction with other companies in the parent group, to align the company with overall strategies and objectives.Achieving shipping, invoicing, and revenue targetsConstantly reviewing customer performance, attending meetings and business discussions to facilitate overall growth and development of the business organisationManaging teams’ overall KPAs and KPIs (with group targets in mind)Assisting area sales managers to design their budgets and targetsBehavioural CompetenciesOutgoing personality with excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills to understand clients’ needs, and easily interact with them for a win-win outcome.Must have the strong business acumen to conduct and draw market trends and analysis.Must have the ability to successfully coach and manage teams’ KPAs and KPIs.Familiar with leadership roles and high-intensity environmentsHigh level of personal and team accountability; professionalism and enthusiasm are highly valuedIndividual that is ready for growth, and enjoys challengesEducation and ExperienceMust have a tertiary qualification (Metallurgy/Commercial/Mechanical or Industrial Engineering)10-15 years of experience in manufacturing and commercial (Sales) processes and people management.Experience at the Senior Management level will be an added advantage.Must be fluent in English.
