JOB SUMMARY: A well established, truly South African insurance giant is looking for a senior developer to join their organization, based at their head office in Sandton. The company requires the successful applicant to have 5 years + demonstrated experience working as a software engineer. JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties and Responsibilities:The successful developer will be required to translate software requirements into workable programming code and maintain and develop programs for use in business. The role will involve writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing and sometimes supporting applications using programming languages and development tools.They will need to be able to work as part of a team, such as software engineers and systems analysts, and write programs according to their specifications.
