JOB SUMMARY: A well-established packaging group requires the above to build and expand the stock and raw material database, analyse trends in procurement and logistics as well as various other functions within this corrugated packaging company to improve plant efficiency and cost to manufacture. JOB DESCRIPTION: Minimum requirements for the role: A tertiary qualification in industrial or or a related qualification is essential for the role.Previous experience having optimised, modelled and analysed data is preferred for the role.Previous experience having worked within the packaging or industry is preferred.Must have good communication skills.Must be computer literate with excellent Excel skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Building and expanding the stock database and analysing trends in logistics and pricing.Building, updating and presenting reports.Handling ad hoc analysis, queries, and business support.Identifying areas for improvement and managing projects to delivery.Interacting with all operational staff, clients and 3PLS.Handle data analysis, simulation modelling, value at stake / business case determination, project planning and execution, process changes implementation as well as process mapping for the company.Conducting research and analysis on business performance and requirements.Conducting process workshops to get the current state of the processes and the pain points concerning the processes.Conducting root cause analysis and problem solving using industrial tools. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained
