Overview Solar PV EngineerAn industry-leading company situated in Pretoria is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Solar PV Engineer to join their team.The Solar PV Engineer will be expected to support the project development team for a range of functions. The successful candidate will work in an environment where learning and knowledge transfer are prioritised. She/he will work in a team that are industry leaders in advanced Solar systems for Industrial and Commercial properties.Key responsibilities: Design of Solar PV systemsAll mechanical and electrical design and drawings for rooftop, ground-mount and storage systemsCompiling of BOQ (Bill of quantity)Apply and drive Regulatory approvalsQuality control of the system designedProfessional engagement with suppliers and subcontractorsProject management of solar PV plant, from site establishment to internal handoverManagement of timeline, budget and qualityManagement of subcontractorContract managementHealth and safetyProgress reportsClient managementBuilding long term client relationshipsManaging client expectationsSite visits as support service for project development teamSuch other duties as the Company may reasonably require from time to time. Experience: +2 years relevant work experience in C&I PV industryCompetent in the following software:Microsoft Office SuiteSketchupLayoutAutoCADPVSyst Education & certificates: Minimum BEng Electrical Engineering degree/ BSc Electrical Engineering degree
