Job Description We have an amazing opportunity for a GIS Developer based in Durban!We require a candidate with: •At least two years’ experience in C# development•Experience in Web Development with JavaScript and/or Angular frameworks•A good understanding of HTML and CSS for UI design•Database design and development: MS SQL Server/Oracle/Postgres•Ability to accurately estimate effort for deliverables•A qualification in Computer Science/Geo-informatics from a recognized institution or a comparative qualification e.g. MSCD / MSPD•Having experience in any of the following technologies will be highly advantageous:•An understanding of agile tools and techniques•Azure DevOps•Experience across the full project development lifecycle•Python•Development experience in a Spatial GIS environment•Experience in the use of the Esri ArcGIS Enterprise product range e.g.: – ArcGIS Desktop•ArcGIS Server (basic administration and managing map services)•Geodatabase design and implementation•Exposure to mobile app development
