Job Number Job Type Permanent Job Title Warehouse Manager Computer Skills MS Office,ERP Software,Reports,CSR’s Industry Water treatment City Ekurhuleni (East Rand) Province Gauteng Job Description Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company polices and visions.Stock control – managing of volumes, movement and ordering.Warehouse control – managing of picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, administration.Manage warehouse staff (approx. 5 staff members)Implementation of systems to improve efficiencies.Utilizing warehouse space to full capacitySystem/warehousing improvement suggestionsWeekly/monthly reporting to Head Office managementAttend management meetings.Point of contact for sales reps and CSRs for stock related queries/issues.Customer contact/warehouse walkthroughsEnsure health and safety standards are maintained within the warehouse.Annual/ad hoc stock take involvement/manage processes and preparation. Experience:Previous staff management experiencePrevious stock control experienceProficient in excel, numeracy, English and Afrikaans (written and spoken)Team playerSafety minded approach.Excellent communication skills, motivational skills, delegation skills, ability to mediate and problem solve.Previous training courses i.e.: Haz chem, warehouse/stock control systems software, forklift, health and safetyOrganizational skillsAttention to detail.Willingness to learn – especially related to product range.
