Overview Senior REVIT TechnicianAn industry-leading company situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Senior REVIT Technician to join their team.Key Responsibilities: Production of structural engineering REVIT drawings in accordance with GIBB standard proceduresProduction of complete and accurate reinforced concrete detailing drawings and bending schedulesMaintain good filing records of drawings on projectsIssuing drawings and managing drawing registersSite supervision inspections as requiredEnsure that all work is done in accordance with GIBB Quality systemsMentorship and training of other staff members in the use of REVITManage external REVIT trainingManagement of drafting resources and allocation of workload as required Key Requirements: Diploma in Civil Engineering – with practical experience in Structural EngineeringCertificate in CAD DraughtingCertified training in REVITAt least 5 years up until 8 years of full time REVIT experienceBIM experienceCompetence in AutoCAD/REVIT/AutoPADDSCompetence in REVIT rebarKnowledge of Structural REVIT/CAD standardsGood reinforcement detailing skillsGood understanding of structures elementsKnowledge of REVIT/CAD office procedures
