Job DescriptionThe role will involve financial control across several functions, including plumbing, electrical, fire safety and HVAC. The salary/package is negotiable subject to experience and qualifications, paid directly to an overseas account in addition to a local living allowance.Role Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly financial statements of projects and ongoing activities.Analyze any changes in monthly spending and identify changes skillfully in cost for projectsFacilitate cash flow management and forecastingPrepare the chart of accounts, and trial balance, and maintain records and ledgers for all financial transactions of the projectLiaise with tax consultants for timely tax filing, and coordinate with the tax consultants regarding tax strategy, and planningReconcile records with vendors and clients on a timely basisPrepare policies and procedures for the project in coordination with the group policies and proceduresAssist in hiring and leading the finance team of the projectCoordinate with the banks for a drawdown of loans, and reporting on covenantsPrepare P&L forecasts for the project as part of the corporate model forecasting of the groupPrepare miscellaneous reports as requested by management Behavioural Competencies Mature, determined and resilient characterIndividual with integrity, reliability and resourcefulness. Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance (BA or BSC), preference for post-graduate studiesProven experience as a controller in a construction companyPolice clearance report
