JOB SUMMARY: Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Warehouse Manager to join their dynamic team in Gqeberha/ Port Elizabeth. JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Description: Conduct investigations and disciplinary hearings and attend CCMA cases.Must be willing to work overtime when needed.Manage the team w.r.t. productivity and time management.Prevent and manage shrinkage and damages.Manage logistics in warehousing and manage expenses in the department e.g. overtime.Manage implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.Managing the Food safety Audit programUtilise the prescribed system (Great Plains) to draw reports.Manage the budget for the section.Manage staff and welfare of members.Manage the branch warehouse function.Manage stock control and inventory function including stocktake preparation.Enforce safety and housekeeping programme on an ongoing basis.Leverage Great Plains reporting in order to control branch logistical functions.Daily cycle counts done. Job Requirements: Matric or equivalent.Preferably a certificate or Diploma in Operations Management / warehouse managementAt least 5 years experience within an operations, logistics or distribution in an environment similar to ours.Computer literacy especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and Great PlainsAt least 2 years experience in people managementUnderstanding of the supply chain from buying, selling to distributionHave technical knowledge of the day to day running of a frozen plant.
