The Financial Accountant will prepare, examine and analyse accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports.As a Financial Accountant, you will responsible for the following:Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for management and auditing purposesEnsure effective daily cash managementRecord asset transactions and ensure that transactions are allocated accuratelyFull understanding of accruals accountingCompile complete, accurate and timely accounting records on a monthly basisPrepare month end reconciliations and documentation to support the trail balanceAssist with financial policies, guidelines and protocolsPrepare monthly and annual financial statements for management and auditing purposesPrepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual statutory returnsGenerate monthly journals on the financial systemImplement improvementsQualifications:Completed finance degree (Financial Accounting)Completed SAICA articles3 years post article experienceLife Insurance exposure
