Job Description: Management and support of SAP Clients, Transports, Users, Roles and GatewaysSystem and Interface monitoring of a multi-tier SAP landscape with multiple integration points for ABAP, Java and other SAP/non-SAP systemsResponsible for user management (Examples: User creation/changes; Role management; Housekeeping; End user support; Governance; LDAP, IDM)Responsible for Printer and Job Management (Examples: Printer Creation/Changes; Installations; Job Creation/Planning/ Checking; Consulting)Responsible for monitoring (Examples: RFC; Logs; Queues; Jobs; PI Channels; IDOCs; AIF; SolMan)Responsible for shared 3rd party tasks (Examples: SharedPI; Intense support; Transports; SAP OSS; Virtual Forge; EDC; Axway CFT)Ensure innovative solutions align and support strategic implementation according to overall business strategyManage and evaluate innovation pipeline assisting strategic decision-making and Go-to-Market processDesign, research, develop, analyse and suggest new concepts as well as strategiesLead and direct different cross-functional programs and projects of varied sizes and types Manage and attain customer expectations and ensure delivery to fulfil expectationsExercise decision-making and independent judgment while being aligned with customers and managementPromote innovations to support business requirements through activities that test, pilot and implement innovative concepts for optimal customer experienceManage ideas from design stage through to implementationRoll out and analyse the effectiveness of initiatives that leverage multiplatform technologiesInitiate, develop and maintain a range of working relationships, within IT, the business and CoCKnowledge:Experience with NetWeaver Fiori/Gateway, Solution Manager, Web Dispatcher, Business ObjectsExperience using SAP ERP 6.0 and SAP Solution Manager 7.2Good Linux, Oracle and HANA knowledgeDemonstrated ability to foster an environment for ideation, prototyping and productionDemonstrated business acumen to take from design to implementation and preferably experience scaling a conceptMust have IT Development and Systems KnowledgeExperience with software development methodologies and practices (Agile, Scrum, etc.)Experience in Data Analysis and Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and OutlookMust have an excellent ability to multi-task effectively working on several projects synchronouslyExperience in rolling out initiatives that leverage multiplatform technologiesWillingness to travel nationally and internationallyAbility to perform the minimum required physical and mental requirements of the functionWorking Model:Knowledge and application of agile project management methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps); DevOps concepts and tools; innovative methods like design thinkingSecurity:Knowledge of commercial and open source security tools; computer and network security, authentication and security protocols; IT security architecture; testing techniques and toolsCustomer Support:Knowledge of help desk and support services; incident and problem managementExperience with incident systems, ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow) and monitoring tools; in providing 24/7 on-call support for high-availability systems; customer relationship management Outputs:Liaise directly with various Company manufacturing plants worldwide to provide product and service supportManage and coordinate system upgrades/bug fixes and support with product testingDesign and model solutions for customer innovation and experienceDesign, research, develop, analyse and suggest new concepts as well as strategies.Lead and direct different cross-functional programs and projects of varied sizes and types concurrentlyCoordinate all cross-functional activities, represent customers internally and collaborate with leaders in varied areas on allocation across projects and resource planningEnsure to exercise decision-making and independent judgment while being aligned with customers and managementPromote innovations to support business requirements through activities that test, pilot and implement innovative conceptsJob Requirements: Minimum NQF 7 BSC/BCom/BTech in Information Technology or B. Eng. (Industrial Engineering) or relevant equivalentMinimum of 5 years experience in IT/Manufacturing
