Job DescriptionThe Demand Planner will play an integral role in assisting with maximising customer service levels, by ensuring stock availability to meet demand and merchandising requirements.Role Responsibilities Developing and executing demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.Collaborating with leaders about balancing stock and merchandising requirements.Develop strategies to optimise stock availability.Managing effective product phase-outs and launching of new products.Minimising overstocks and understocks.Anticipating and mitigating supply risks.Working closely with our suppliers, looking at ways to effectively balance supply and demand.Planning and allocating the relevant stock requirements for new store openings. Education and Experience Supply Chain/Logistics tertiary qualification preferable.Experience in the retail clothing industry would be advantageous.Experience in forecasting, demand planning or related field.
