Job Number 68485 Job Type Permanent Job Title Senior Financial Officer (HL) Computer Skills IFRS Industry Banking City Johannesburg Province Gauteng Job Description Responsible for the completion of Annual Financial Statements for four securitisation entities and four otherlegal entities with an asset base of R8bn.Responsible for all VAT, tax and regulatory returns for all of the eight active legal entities.Responsible for preparation and capturing of forecasts and budget as well as the reporting thereof for theeight active legal entitiesResponsible for the accounting of an asset base transaction that requires the preparation of monthlymanagement accounts, liaising with the regulatory team and the counterparty finance team monthly to ensureaccurate accounting for the transactions.Responsible for consolidation entries for all transactions that impact Company Limited and Company Groupresults.Responsible for preparing and co-ordinating technical tax, VAT and accounting opinions for new and existingtransactions and new transaction structures relating to the home loan product.Responsible for the monthly flash reporting and commentary of actuals vs budgetManagement accounts for the home loan product across the Company Group, together with managementpack review and reporting to various committees on product performanceEnsure accuracy and completeness of disclosures through analysis and comparison between differentreports (internal and external).Assist with the review of VAT and accounting for properties in possessionResponsible for detailed costing per channel for the Home Loan productResponsible for preparing business cases impacting the Home Loan productResponsible for supporting internal and external auditAssisting with half year and year-end analyst booklet commentary for the home loan productRequired to contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating inCompany Culture building initiatives (eg. staff surveys etc.).Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes; systems and policies and supportimplementation of new processes; policies and systems.
