JOB SUMMARY: Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Maintenance Technician (Concentrated Products) to join their dynamic team in Humansdorp. JOB DESCRIPTION: Key Performance Areas: The successful candidate will be required to perform scheduled and planned preventative maintenance in a Dairy plant environment i.e., Powder plant, Cheese production, and Butter plant. Do mechanical, electrical fault finding and repair of equipment to standard.Maintenance work and projects need to be done according to time frame and specification.Overtime and standby need to be worked as required. This position also requires of the candidate to work shifts. Knowledge and Skills: The successful candidate will either be a qualified millwright or electrician although other suitably qualified candidates will also be considered.Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience gained in automated food or beverages manufacturing environment.Previous knowledge and experience of evaporators, sprays dryers, cheese, butter, and other food processing equipment will be advantageous.
