A well-established Home and Bedding conglomerate is looking for a dynamic Junior Accountant to add to their team based in Johannesburg West.Your duties include but are not limited to controlling and monitoring branch cash, by checking daily transactions to supporting documents and reconciling clearing accounts. Check and report discrepancies on branch daily cash control documentation. Maintain accounting records of subsidiary branches using balance sheet analysis and general ledger accounts. Maintaining accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of debt as well as updating financial records via software.Education Requirements:Matric CertificateTertiary qualifications in Finance/AccountingJob Requirements and Skills:3 to 5 years in relevant roleSage/Pastel experience advantageousAdvanced knowledge in M.S ExcelStrong debtors and creditors experience neededStrong ability to problem-solveExcellent time management skillsDeadline drivenGreat communication skills and a good team playerIf this sounds like you; please do not hesitate to apply!No Chancers!
