Job Description: Must be in possession of a Matric Certificate or equivalentMust have completed an apprenticeship, be in possession of a trade test and be certified as a Diesel MechanicAppropriate experience on forestry equipment such as tygercat, bell and urus machinesAbility to repair and service all vehicles/ mechanical equipment falling within the ambience of the garage workshop.Knowledge of the Sawmill Industry will be an added advantageMust have a valid driver’s licenceMust have extensive experience in hydraulic and mechanical computer systemsMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust be knowledgeable of OHSA Person Requirements: Must be prepared to work overtime from time to time.Must be prepared to do standby duties.Must be able to communicate at all levels.Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Must be able to work without supervision, be reliable and be accountable.Must be innovative and safety conscious.Must be able to work within a team.Must have integrity.
