Overview Solar PV Design EngineerAn industry-leading company situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Solar PV Design Engineer to join their team.A key focus area for this position will entail the Solar design of advanced Solar systems for Industrial and Commercial properties.The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for: All mechanical and electrical design and drawings for rooftop, ground-mount and storage systemsCompiling of BOQ (Bill of quantity)Apply and drive Regulatory approvalsQuality control of the system designedProfessional engagement with suppliers and subcontractorsManagement of timeline, budget and qualityManagement of subcontractorContract managementHealth and safetyProgress reportsBuilding long-term client relationshipsManaging client expectationsSite visits as support service for the project development team Key requirements:We are looking for a well-rounded individual, for whom values are important.
