Job Description: Supervise, lead and develop members of the team to achieve agreed targets in respect of output, quality, downtime reduction and cost reduction.Motivate, build and brief the team.Set targets and standards, measure performance, give feedback and develop employees working under him/her.Supervise machine/equipment maintenance by ensuring and monitoring compliance with Preventative Maintenance scheduled requirements.Facilitate and mentor team members by coaching on the job, relieving and assisting operators, where necessary, to ensure the achievement of output, targets and as a means of training and development, etc.Drive the process of continuous improvement by, ensuring continuous improvement at the workplace, involving team members in problem solving decisions or by running improvement teams.Ensure team maintains safety, housekeeping and Company Rules and Regulations.Ensure compliance with Labour Legislations. Job Requirements: Matric/ Grade 12 CertificateA certificate /diploma/degree in Production management2-3 years of supervisory experience in a production/ manufacturing environmentGood planning and organizing skillsValid Driver’s License
