Job Description:Production planningCoordinating all activities of the department including shiftsOrdering and ensuring raw materials conform to process requirementsEnsure machines are utilized efficiently in order to meet set targetsCheck quality and record and report deviations (ISO TS )Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are maintainedPlan machine maintenance downtime in consultation with MaintenanceConduct training and appraising of employeesEnsure all departmental budgets are metControl material utilization and minimize wasteProvide good customer service and communicationPromote good employee relationsComplete daily reports accurately and on timeDeal with daily industrial relation problemsEnsure all manufacturing systems are maintainedEnsure the factory is opened and closed dailyCarry out monthly stock takesApply & enforce FES principlesJob Requirements:Production Management Diploma/ similar qualification5 years experience in a manufacturing environment (in a supervisory position)Knowledge of Kanban systems or experience in the motor industryValid drivers license and own transportComputer literacy
