JOB SUMMARY: A well-established chemical raw material distributing company requires the above to be responsible for managing and driving key accounts withing the agricultural chemical industry. JOB DESCRIPTION: Minimum requirements for the role: Previous experience selling into the agricultural or fertiliser or related industries is preferred but not essential. The company is happy to train an experienced sales person on their products.Previous external sales experience is essential.Must be results driven, passionate with the ability to build and foster strong strategic relationships.Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing and driving key accounts within the agricultural chemical industry.Monitoring market developments in order to identify and grow market share.Managing, achieving and exceeding sales volumes, value and key performance indicator targets.Identifying sales opportunities and implementing strategies to target these.Developing and continually reviewing sales plans to support customer’s needs and actively taking market share from competitors.Offering technical support, commissioning and first level troubleshooting when required as well as providing technical support for customers while on-site and while travelling.Evaluating and recommending improvements that would assist the business area management in meeting/exceeding current sales, profitability, and operational goals.Participating in and assisting with the development, approval and communication with regards to new and existing products.Managing forecasting and price negotiations.Reviewing, implementing and managing the sales strategy as per the business channel. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
