Job Description An exciting client is looking for a skilled Senior Systems Developer in Johannesburg.Required Skills •Solid C development experience •Interest to work with older technologies that require low-level coding skills •Solid understanding of number systems (binary, hexadecimal, decimal) and data manipulation (bitwise operations, etc.) •Good code analysis skills •Ability to work independently Secondary Duties and Responsibilities •Design, develop and maintain C++ applications on Ubuntu Linux •Design, develop and maintain Rust applications on Ubuntu Linux •Maintain Java applications on Ubuntu Linux (depending on candidate’s skill set) •MySQL database management and maintenance •Redeveloping existing systems using newer technologies •Stand-by for Client production environments will be required (after initial probation / settling in period)
