An exciting and challenging opportunity is vacant for an experienced and suitable qualified Supervisor to join a Wheel and Tyre team based in Durban.Purpose of the job:To co-ordinate and supervise people and daily operations to achieve the daily production plan in line with established standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality, cost, and safety requirements. The role requires strict adherence to manufacturing cycle times and two-day stockholding outputs, as well as ongoing communication with my client to ensure hourly outputs are achieved safely and efficiently.Experiential and Educational requirements:Grade 12 (NQF level 3 literacy and numeracy)Studying towards a relevant degree or diploma in Operations or Supervisory Management at NQF 4Safety and ISO and Understanding safety critical componentsQuality InspectionComputer skills (Advantage)Forklift licence (Advantage)2-3 years related experienceSupervisory experience would be advantageousEssential duties and responsibilities: Effective co-ordination of peopleOngoing monitoring of compliance to safety, quality, and output requirements in line with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)Cross-functional communication, co-ordination and problem-solving Participation in growth and continuous improvement activitiesTeamwork and self-management
