Duties:Control all aspects of stock adjustmentsControl the movement of raw materials.Responsible for the planning and execution of daily cycle counting in the Stores.Responsible for expediting shortages.Effective problem solving of stock discrepancies.Responsible for ensuring tasks within the Stores are performed satisfactorily. This includes supply of parts, booking in of parts and relief of subsequence.Effective daily, weekly and monthly reporting on the material control function.Attend meetings as required (e.g. labour loans).Responsible for 3 to 4 different store areas.Supporting Store controllers on various actions relating to stores.Ensure the deployment of warehouses policies and procedures across all stores under responsibility.Primary responsibility for cycle count program in all stores under responsibility, this includes setting up of count schedule, activating counts, analysing variances and processing of adjustments.Supporting Store Controllers with all store related queries.Achievement of all set targets in area of responsibility.Lead special projects in store under responsibility.Other duties as deemed necessary and requested by the Supervisor.Requirements:Applicants must have passed and be in possession of a Matric CertificateLogistics course (such as PPIM) or Diploma in Logistics5 years’ working experience in a Stores environment5 years’ experience on LN, Baan or other MRPs systems such as SAP in a supply chain or logistics environmentComputer literate up to at least an Intermediate levelMust be prepared to work shifts and/or overtime at short notice that could require weekend duties
