Job Description:Supervision, management, and maintenance of IT MES technical infrastructures, specifically related to shop-floor.Provide support for installation of new IT MES processes.Assure all IT procedures are correctly followed in accordance with IOS and IT policies.Clearly communicate any deviations or problems with the procedures.Ensuring JIT/JIS, EDI and MES systems run optimally.Opening and closing of Tickets with relevant helpdesks, including Change/Demand Management.First point of contact for MES and JIS/JIT related business interruptions.Main IT contact for external MES vendorsTrain new and existing users to use MESAbility to work after hours, public holidays and weekends or when operational needs ariseJob Requirements:Recognized IT Technical qualification5 to 7 years in similar functionMinimum 5 years Automotive experience not negotiable as position is critical for business continuity of MES in both JIS and manufacturing environmentExtensive JIT and MES Systems experience not negotiableIn depth SQL knowledge with Reporting Writing SkillsCore competencies and skills:Operating systems: Windows Server , Windows 10Hardware systems: HP, Intermec, IPC experiencePrinter knowledge: Label and Laser technologiesNetworking, cabling, Cisco Hardware experienceDatabases, mainly Microsoft SQLMES systems technical background exposureBasic PLC system knowledge
