JOB SUMMARY: NEW VACANCY ALERT!Our client, based in Rosslyn within the automotive sector, seeks to employ a Maintenance Technician (Millwright – PLC & Automation) to join their engineering team. JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties: Identify problems in PLC’s & Lead Automation projects.Identify problems on Injection Machines/ Vibration Machine/US Welding Robot (Electrical & Hydraulic & Pneumatic).Provide repair or improvement suggestions to the Maintenance Manager/ Supervisor.Obtain go-ahead from the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor for improvements.Implement improvements.Conduct daily preventative maintenance inspections and checks as per routine.Conduct repairs according to planned schedule.Conduct repairs according to machine availability.Monitor machines and equipment for preventative maintenance.Identify cause of the breakdown & fill in breakdown log sheet.Repair breakdowns.Full report documented (job card, plant status board, breakdown history).Perform line QRCI on breakdowns and support Production QRCI.Perform services according to scheduled service plan (3/4 level maintenance).Adhere to requirements and standards.Ensure HSE are at all times adhered to. Requirements: Completed trade/ 3 year Diploma/DegreeTrade tested Millwright with at least 6 years’ after trade test experienceExperience in Electrical & Pneumatics & HydraulicsExperience and understanding of injection moulding machineReading and understanding Electrical & Hydraulic drawingsPLC experience & programming qualified – 6 yearsLead automation project – 3 yearsGood in electrical & mechanical and hydraulic with PLC fault findingAbility to speak, write and read the English language
