Our client based in Cato Ridge is seeking a Financial Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for managing the accounts team, supporting upper-level accounting managers while providing important services within the finance department. Requirements(B.Comm degree (articles an added advantage)Experience in the preparation and finalisation of accounts in accordance with current South African regulationsKnowledge of strategic and financial planning including activity costing, benchmarking and KPIsExperience in budget preparation and reportingExperience in goods and services procurement processesHighly numerate and able to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reports which can be understood by non-financial colleaguesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenComputer literate: fully conversant with the current uses of information technology in the workplace and uses IT as a management toolProficiency in Accpac or related accounting software would be an advantageDuties and Responsibilities:Produce the monthly management report including financial report within agreed timescalesStock management including physical stock takePreparation of monthly sales reportMaintain current standing with all mandated SARS requirements including submissions and paymentsManagement of debtors and creditors staff (including managing KPIs)Assist Standard bank with any information requestedAssist upper management with adhoc financial reports when necessaryCheck debtors credit apps and ensuring all necessary information is received prior to loading on AccpacCheck supplier credit apps before it is handed to FD for signature. Ensure all necessary documents are received prior to loading on AccpacStock management – drone stock takes, stock reconciliation, creating new stock codes, bill of materials for new itemsAssist with quotes and overseeing of office projects when necessaryApprove monthly stationery and grocery ordersDaily cash upfront reconciliation for coal procurementCreditors reconciliation and payment reviewEnsure adherence to financial policies, procedures and systems across all teamsAll IT requirements (soft and hardware)Accpac support Please apply directly online if you meet the requirements.
