JOB SUMMARY: A stable engineering company within the fluid mechanics/pumps industry based on the East Rand is looking to employ a Senior Mechanical Draughtsman. JOB DESCRIPTION: Minimum requirements for the role: A relevant Draughting qualification is essential for this role.Minimum 5 years’ experience within the fluid mechanics/pumps/foundry industry.Must be proficient in 3D Solid Edge and AUTOCAD.Must be computer literate with basic Excel experience.Must have excellent verbal communications skills and high attention to detail.Must have a valid driver’s licence with own transport.Email CV to The successful candidate will be responsible for: Designing required equipment to suit design specifications per project specifications.Modifying and revising existing designs to correct operating deficiencies.Developing detailed drawings of products for product development discussions.Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, clients and sub-contractors.Ensuring final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.Working closely with all departments in the company as and where required.Email CV to Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
