JOB SUMMARY: A well-established packaging group requires the above to ensure the accuracy of all paperwork relating to picking, loading and dispatch of stock within its corrugated packaging company to improve plant efficiency and cost to manufacture. JOB DESCRIPTION: Minimum requirements for the role: A tertiary qualification in logistics or supply chain or related is preferred but not essential.Previous experience having worked as a Logistics Clerk/Warehouse Administrator or in a data capturing role within a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.The successful candidate must be computer literate and able to work on Excel.Previous experience having worked on Syspro is preferred but not essential as the company is happy to train the right person for the role. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Ensuring accuracy of all paperwork relating to picking, loading and dispatch of stock to improve plant efficiency and cost to manufacturePreparing shipping documentation and other related paperwork.Ensuring that OTIF reports are sent out daily to all relevant parties.Ensuring that all picking slips are correctly allocated to pickers and bays for routing and delivery.Monitoring and managing credit notes daily.Reviewing and communicating discrepancies with sales and rectify discrepancies before loading and dispatch of stock.Ensuring that all receipting of raw material stock and final product is captured on the system using production batch sheets that are given to them by production.Performing weekly cycle counts to reconcile stock on the floor matching it to the system.Querying and dealing with any stock related queries and investigations relating to the production plant.Reviewing all expired and slow-moving stock at the plant. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
