JOB SUMMARY: A leading Financial Services provider, that is UK stock exchange listed, is looking for an analytical, skilled Cashbook Clerk to join their dynamic team based in Cape Town.This is a great opportunity to join a multinational company! JOB DESCRIPTION: The client is looking for someone who embraces challenges and wants to be part of a hard-working team. You will be responsible for the full cashbook function for group, including accurate allocation of cash, bank reconciliations and cash management. Your duties include (but will not be limited to) maintaining bank signatory lists across the business, process payments on systems, preparation and distribution of monthly cash flow reports, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, posting monthly interest on the bank account to business units, maintain prepayment schedule and subscription schedules, maintain fixed asset register, assistance in annual external audits, assist in management and Financial Accountants’ duties, assistance with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.Education Requirements: Completed MatricRelevant tertiary qualification in /Accounting Job Requirements and Skills: 5 to 10 years’ experience in a cashbook and banking role essentialStrong knowledge on both creditors and debtor’s cycleAdvanced MS Excel skills non-negotiableExperience in Financial Services/Insurance industry necessarySAGE/Accpac experienceResults drivenAbility to work under pressureTeam playerEffective communication skills If this sounds like you; please do not hesitate to apply!No Chancers!For more finance jobs, please visit If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
