Overview Logistics Team LeaderA leading FMCG company situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Logistics Team Leader to join their team.The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for: Supervise logistic activities of raw product transport to and from cold stores and depotsEnsure a constant flow of fruit to production as required per varietyCoordinate timeous and constant flow of raw material for production and that administration is accurate and updated and all totals accounted forControl of empty bin movementEnsure proper and sufficient cold storage space Key requirements: Relevant Degree in LogisticsExperience in the fruit industry beneficialMinimum of 3 years experience in an FMCG environmentProfessional, enthusiastic, hardworking, well-organized, and able to prioritizeExcellent Microsoft Office skills (excel)Ability to prioritizeStrong leadership and communication abilitiesStrong personality with a high sense of discipline and organizational skillsAn assertive, team–spirited, proactive and hands- on approach
