My Client is looking for an exceptional Deputy Hotel GM who is passionate about managing all aspects of a hotel as well as added food and beverage duties. The ideal candidate should reside in the Helderberg area and have a drivers license and vehicle. RequirementsHospitality DegreeFluent in Afrikaans and EnglishMinimum 5 years’ experience in Food and BeverageExperience in managing more than 1 Restaurant at a time will be to your advantageGood understanding and proven ability of the hotel business and management principlesLeadership with ability to assist in driving and developing a hotel teamGenuine desire to serve the needs of customers with a strong personal responsibility for achieving customer satisfactionExcellent analytical, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.High integrity and honestyProject management skillsAbility to work under pressureResponsibilitiesAssisting the Hotel GM to manage the overall day to day running of the hotel and food and beverage outletsAssist the Hotel GM to manage sales and marketing, housekeeping, front desk (including all reception and concierge), food and beverage, Chef/kitchen, leisure, human resources, accountsAdhere to agreed budgets and maintain applicable quality standards and recordsQuality control of all aspects including hygiene and health and safetyMeet your targets and those of the hotel as a wholeContribute to training and development of the hotel teamAdhere to statutory obligations and agreed quality and best practice guidelinesTrain the hotel team to enable them to confidently deal with customer queriesManage customers’ expectations and deal and resolve with all queries
