To install distribution boards and control panels on machinery.JOB FUNCTION:Production support:Electrical Machinery of the unit is installed and connected as per drawingsNew electrical and instrumentation equipment is designed and supplied as requiredDocumentation, detailed instructions, drawings or specification are provided to advise how electrical parts and equipment are to be constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or usedInspection and Maintenance:All electrical machinery and equipment of the unit is inspected daily Defects are detected and appropriate repairs carried out The plant, tools and equipment are refurbished as required Records of all maintenance work are maintained Planned system maintenance is implementedCompliance:Safety procedures and standards are in place and adhered to Compliance with departmental policies and proceduresConstruction work is completed as per safety specsRecords of electrical equipment are maintained and inspections completedTeam Support:Provides on the job coaching to apprentices Provides technical direction as required
