Major Duties Supervises two or more major Human Resource processes such as employee relations, the human resource aspects of the unit strategic plan, compensation and benefits, staffing and employee development, training and development, safety and health, legal compliance and employee communications.Serves as lead resource to managers and employees regarding Human Resource policies, procedures and objectives including coaching managers in the performance improvement activities with their employees.Administers staffing and employee development activities including workforce planning up to a management level. Supports process for positions above level of responsibility.Administers Compensation and Benefit plans at unit/site within the corporate framework. May have some unique aspects based on local legislation or custom.Administers training and development at unit/site including planning and budgeting as well as delivery.Assists in the development of unit/site Human Resources strategic/tactical plans and leads one or more objectives.Creates a positive working environment by addressing Human Resources related issues.
