Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Distribution Manager to join their dynamic team in Gqeberha/ Port Elizabeth (40km from Gqeberha/ Port Elizabeth). JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Description: Manage and plan for distribution incl. products, people, routes & customersOptimize fleet utilization and costEnsure optimum customer service delivery is met incl. orders, products, queries & cashManage a team, vehicles and equipment (incl. pallets)Ensure accurate management of the Distribution department and Drivers via the Mix Telematics systemEnsure that weekly &/or monthly reporting of all KPI’s within distribution is submitted to ManagementManage vehicle inspections & maintenance of trucksManage the returns and credit processesWork hand in hand with the Sales and Production departments to ensure flawless execution of supply Job Requirements: Relevant Logistics or Distribution qualificationFive years relevant experienceComputer proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSAGE ERP experience (advantageous)Knowledge or experience of Mix Telematics tracking suystem (advantageus)Ability to work on weekends & public holidays when neededExcellent communication skillsAbility to work across other departments Sound problem solving skillsAttention to detailMust be highly motivated and a self-starterMust have own reliable transport
